Chicago, Illinois – After months of planning, IMTS 2016 kicks off today. Late Sunday, the show was still coming together in Chicago as exhibitors moved in million-dollar piece of equipment and set up their elaborate booth displays.
For the rest of the week, Chicago will be the epicenter of the manufacturing world with major product and technology announcements coming at a steady pace. If you can’t make this year’s show, return to this site regularly for updates.
IMTS 2016 is the 31st edition of the premier manufacturing technology show in North America. More than 2,000 exhibiting companies will occupy 1.3 million square feet of exhibit space. IMTS is held every even-numbered year in Chicago and attracts more than 114,000 buyers and sellers from over 112 countries.
