Kelpac Medical officials announce the certification of its quality management system to ISO 9001:2008 at three of its locations. The three facilities, located in San Clemente, CA, San Diego, CA, and Nogales, AZ, produce excellent thermoplastic tubing extrusion. The facilities join other ISO 9001:2008-certified Kelpac Medical global manufacturing locations in the company’s commitment to achieving outstanding levels of process repeatability, product performance, and customer satisfaction.
“Unification of our worldwide operations under a single quality management system is part of our plan to better serve our customers,” states William Martens, director of global quality assurance for Kelpac Medical. “Certification alone is not the answer to quality; it is the dedication and commitment of all the employees within each facility that make a quality management system successful. We have always focused our efforts on producing and delivering the highest quality products and service to the medical device industry.”
The Kelpac Medical ISO 9001:2008 sites were assessed and approved by NQA, USA, an accredited organization under the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.
