Collet chuck for small diameter cutting

Lyndex-Nikken’s MMC Mini-Mini collet chuck is slim and compact for precision machining with small diameter tools (up to 0.500"). It’s suitable for high-speed machining applications where clearance is needed and can be used as an alternative to shrink-fit systems.
The MMC features a draw-in collet clamping mechanism requiring no collet nut, resulting in strong, high-precision gripping from the front nose for access to hard-to-reach areas. The collet system makes tool changeover faster and less expensive than a toolholding system, which requires a machine to insert or extract the cutting tool.
The MMC collet chuck is precision ground and pre-balanced to 30,000rpm at G2.5 with runout accuracy of 3µm at 4x the diameter. It’s also available in Taper Plus, which combines taper accuracy with flange rigidity. The MMC has coolant- thru capabilities offered in a standard style coolant collet or jet slotted style collet.
