HANGSTERFER'S LABORATORIES, INC. RECEIVES INDUSTRY AWARD

THE INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY ASSOCIATION (ISA) AWARDED HANGSTERFER'S LABORATORIES AND THEIR DISTRIBUTOR, MAJOR TOOL COMPANY of Knoxville, TN, the prestigious American Eagle Value-Added Partner Award during the Industrial Supply Conference & Trade Fair in Las Vegas, NV on May 21, 2007. The award recognizes the efforts of a manufacturer and distributor working together to add value to their end user.

Hangsterfer's Laboratories, Inc. and Major Tool Company were recognized for their program at Denso Manufacturing in Athens, TN, documenting a substantial cost savings in the use of straight oils, increased productivity and outstanding environmental accomplishments.

Denso Manufacturing was able to improve tool life and dramatically reduce hazardous waste by replacing a cleaning solvent and cutting oil with more environmentally friendly products. The cleaner replaced a hazardous chemical that generated over 14,000 lbs. of hazardous waste per year and also improved the work environment for their employees.
