ISCAR's family of interchangeable carbide drill heads have been enhanced with the addition of CHAMDRILLJET.
The head geometries were designed according to the material to be cut, in order to provide optimal chip evacuation, drilling head life, surface finish and reliability. CHAMDRILLJET drill bodies have a 30° flute helix on the 3xD drills, and 25° flute helix on the 5xD drills. This system provides excellent hole accuracy and straightness.
The drilling depth-to-diameter ratios are 3xD and 5xD. All drill bodies have internal coolant holes with the coolant ports adjacent to the cutting edge for the most efficient flushing and chip evacuation. The drill heads have large radial stoppers to bear the tensional cutting forces. The drill shank has no flange on it. ICP, ICM and ICN drill head geometries are available in 0.1mm drill diameter increments. ICK drill head geometries are currently available in whole and mid sizes. CHAMDRILLJET features four various, standard drill head geometries designed specifically for optimal performance and maximum reliability when used on the different materials.
