At the 24th annual Nikkei Superior Products and Services Awards/ Nihon Keizai Shimbun Awards for Excellence, Mori Seiki's recently released NT Series of integrated millturn centers was the only machine tool to be so acknowledged. Products and services nominated for the awards come from areas as diverse as industrial and consumer goods, software and financial goods. Of the 250 products and services selected, 45 received awards, including 21 that garnered an Award for Excellence.
