6-axis precision tool grinder

GrindSmart 630XW 6-axis precision tool grinder is equipped with linear motors and a torque motor on the rotary axis, providing benefits such as enhanced surface finish and reduced maintenance costs. The oil used for cooling and lubricating the linear motors is the same as the coolant oil, ensuring consistent thermal stability during setup and production without incurring additional energy consumption.

The 6th axis on the 630XW improves accuracy on ballnose endmills, or corner radii with the ability to incline the grinding wheels, allowing for easier programming with shorter empty moves during grinding.

Covering diameters from 0.1mm to 20.0mm (0.004" to 0.75"), the 630XW includes an automatic high-speed pick & place tool loader with up to 1,360 tools along with a high-speed wheel and nozzle changer with six positions.

The ultra-efficient synchronous spindle motor provides constant rotation speed and torque regardless of motor load, enabling consistent and high-quality surface finishes, especially when the motor load is high.
