New appointment, hires at CERATIZIT USA, TekniPlex, Guill Tool, and Star Cutter

Shannon Grismore has been promoted to sales director, central zone at CERATIZIT USA. Grismore, who has brought nearly three decades of machining, sales, and application experience to the role, will oversee a growing seven-state territory that includes Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Prior to assuming his new position, Grismore supported and assisted CERATIZIT customers as a sales engineer in Southern Indiana and Kentucky for almost three years. http://www.cuttingtools.ceratizit.com

TekniPlex named long-tenured senior executive Suj Mehta as CEO of its Healthcare Division. Initially joining TekniPlex in 2009 as vice president, deputy general counsel, Mehta has since held several upwardly mobile positions, including senior vice president of corporate development. Throughout his 16-year tenure at TekniPlex, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, delivering impactful growth initiatives and fostering organization-wide innovation, among other core responsibilities. https://www.tekni-plex.com

Guill Tool hired JCM Plastics Machinery, a sales representative firm in Roswell, Georgia, to cover North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Joseph Guigli, the company’s president/owner, holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont. After graduation, he started working at Davis Standard in Pawcatuck, Connecticut. For the next 17 years, Guigli held various positions within the company ranging from mechanical engineer, screw designer, and product manager to regional sales manager and then vice president of sales for the North American aftermarket. https://www.guill.com

Adam Chipman has been hired as sales engineer, supporting sales and service of Star Cutter’s line of TRU TECH centerless and cylindrical grinding machines. Chipman’s experience includes more than two decades as a journeyman die maker and CNC machinist with proficiency in 5-axis machining, milling, turning, programming, and robotic applications. He’s held several key positions in his career including most recently as senior applications engineer for the past six years at Gosiger Machine Tools. https://starcutter.com
