Marubeni Citizen-Cincom will feature their newest machines, including the Citizen CAV bar loader. The Citizen CAV Bar Loader is engineered for use exclusively with Cincom Swisstype turning centers. It is configured to the speeds, torque, power, and axis movements of the Cincom machines, allowing it to respond with the precise movements needed for optimum precision, performance, and productivity. Since the CAV and the Cincom share the same CNC controller as well as the same electrical system, bar feeder movements can be viewed and controlled from the lathe's CNC display.
The precise K-Series machines will also be on display with a tool layout concept that allows the machines to use the virtual X/Y axis movement, providing reduced thermal growth displacement, and higher rigidity of slides and heads. The overlapping axis function reduces idle time; one axis can be programmed to start its travel while the other axis is still completing its task. Spindle indexing can be achieved from a high speed rotation and instantly stop at the desired degreed position.
