Biocompatible electrical connection grease
NYEMED 7560, a biocompatible synthetic hydrocarbon grease designed for electrical contacts and exposed terminals in medical devices and manufacturing equipment, is a medium viscosity, silica-thickened grease offering heat resistance and oxidative stability for long-lasting performance. The NLGI Grade 2 grease has a temperature range from -40°C to 120°C, making it suitable for diverse medical environments.
Offering fretting corrosion protection extends the life of medical device electrical connectors by preventing wear caused by micromotion. The grease also offers excellent dielectric isolation capabilities, with a high breakdown voltage of 11.2kV, ensuring insulation from short circuits and enhancing overall system safety.
NYEMED 7560’s resistance to water washout makes it ideal for use in washdown environments and the grease provides superior protection against moisture ingress and corrosive elements. Its low oil separation rate of 1.5% at 100°C for 24 hours ensures the lubricant stays in place, providing consistent, long-term protection for medical devices. Additionally, the low evaporation rate (0.3% at 100°C) minimizes loss over time, ensuring reliable performance and extended service life.
Software innovations, enhancements

hyperMILL enables accurate, efficient 2.5D, 3D, precision 5-axis, and mill/turn machining. The 5-axis automatic tool orientation mode ensures optimized machining, guaranteeing efficient and reliable toolpaths on the most complex components. The 5-axis automatic tool orientation mode algorithm uses a pre-analysis of the entire toolpath to calculate machining sequences of simultaneous and indexed tool movements, reducing the number of inputs required for 5-axis machining and saving time when programming challenging parts.
A 5-axis hole deburring strategy excels at deburring sharp edges on holes and intersecting holes. By using CAM Plan programming assistance and analysis technology to automatically recognize all the holes, sharp edges in the model are marked for selecting the desired edges. The hole deburring technology automatically calculates toolpaths and supports 3-axis and 5-axis modes. hyperMILL also offers a 5-axis deburring strategy for fast and efficient deburring of component edges. Choosing between 3-axis machining and a 5-axis option enables greater reach to more component edges, automatically generating the required inclinations as well as collision avoidance.

Crossed-roller linear bearing

NB Studroller crossed-roller linear bearing is perfect for motion control applications with extremely fast acceleration and deceleration (at dimensions ranging from 30mm to 600mm lengths, 1mm to 12mm rollers, endurance is 150 million cycles). NB’s NV type Studroller with anti-creep cage technology guarantees zero slippage. By placing studs in the center roller and machining a correspondingly dimpled path in the rail, it’s a retainer that never slips. In addition, load capacities increased from 1.4x to 2.3x compared to the standard SV type. Roller-to-rail contact area is extended 42% to 58% while the number of rollers is increased 20% to 55%. Studroller lowers component costs and allows more compact designs.
