A new organization, Walter USA is the result of a decision by Titex + Prototyp and Walter to coordinate North American operations. They will continue to exist as brands within the new organization.
The combined offerings of the three brands include indexable cutting tools for turning, milling and drilling operations as well as solid carbide and high-speed steel drills, taps and end mills.
The organizations have combined their back office functions while retaining the sales forces and distributor networks to which customers have become accustomed. The combined product offerings will compliment each other without compromising individual brand equity.
The new organization anticipates enhanced market coverage while boosting customer satisfaction through new synergies in supply and support functions.
