Cut install and setup time

A new multipole conveyor stopgate from Bosch Rexroth simplifies the sourcing, installation and set up of power and free conveyor stops used with Rexroth TS-style assembly conveyors.

The VE2/MP stopgate with SmartStop combines the functionality of a VE2 stopgate with a pneumatic solenoid valve, an embedded microprocessor, three proximity sensors, an array of LED indicators to provide extensive operations control and feedback in a self-contained package.

With the new VE2/MP, everything is contained in one functional direct- wire device, eliminating the time- consuming tasks related to complex system control installation, sensor adjustment and maintenance. The VE2/MP bolts quickly into the T-slot on the extruded aluminum conveyor profile. Then, all that's needed to get it up and running is an air tube and two 3-wire M8 electrical cables.

The VE2/MP includes two 3-pin connector plugs that provide six I/ O connections for greater control and feedback capability. In addition, eight LED displays provide visual indication to the operational status of the stopgate. This visual indication is beneficial during initial setup and systems diagnosis.
