Several Tsugami Swiss-type and fixed headstock lathes will be operating while the SS32 will be highlighted. The SS32's modularity is a major contribution to Swiss technology, as is its ample space in the work zone. Fast and easy-to-change tools meet user needs while the machine's standard main spindle configuration includes seven turning tools, five cross rotary tools, and five ID tools. The standard sub-spindle setup includes three ID stations and three face drills, and can include up to two cross rotary drills. Thread whirling, polygon turning and angular face drilling operations are possible with an adjustable face tool attachment. Key specifications include 320mm (12.6") of Z-1 stroke, and 8,000rpm main and sub-spindles.
