Mori Seiki is unveiling several new machines, including the NT5400 DCG/1800SZ mill-turn machine, NMH6300 DCG horizontal machining center, NX3000 DCG production machining center, and the NMV5000 DCG 5- axis machining center.
The NZ-S1500 4-axis CNC lathe employs a symmetrical design in which the two turrets are aligned with the spindle which is mounted on a vertical bed. This layout also reduces the influence of heat and improves accuracy during continuous machining, holding thermal displacement to under ±10 microns. For the purposes of automation, the machine features a high-speed loader with a rotary hand function to increase the efficiency of the machine.
