In addition to the introduction of 14 new machines, Hurco has announced a new location for customers in the West to see their machines. Instead of exhibiting at local shows, Hurco will hold an open house in Carson City, CA, on March 19, 2009, from 8a.m. to 5p.m.
The open house will feature machine demonstrations that illustrate how Hurco machine tools increase productivity for shops of all sizes.
At the Hurco event, attendees will see the newest software features in action, such as Transform Part Zero and Swept Surface. Attendees will see how Hurco's intuitive, conversational fivesided programming can reduce multiple part setups to a single setup and how Swept Surface simplifies programming of 3D contours.
Featured machines will be the VM10U 5-axis machining center, the VM20 equipped with a rotary table, the multi-tasking TMM10 turning center with live tooling, and the VM X24. Additionally, there will be door prizes and lunch will be served. hurco.com.
