LabAutomation2008, put on by the Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA), is a five-day event, January 26-30, 2008 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs, CA. A diverse group of more than 5,000 business leaders and scientists converge to further the field of laboratory automation. Short courses throughout the event are designed to provide a rapid introduction to topics, issues and techniques related to the laboratory automation issues faced on a daily basis and are taught by world-renowned instructors. The Scientific Program consists of the Top 100 Podium Presentations that exemplify ALA's commitment to bringing science, technology and industry together. Ninety-minute workshops hosted by exhibitors assist with the unique issues, challenges, and possible solutions within laboratory automation.
