The line of REM VTLs feature live spindle options, 3D design for custom-made machining, and automatic lubrication systems. Built from cast iron, it avoids vibration interference. Coolant through the spindle, hardened and ground ways along with box or steel inserts delivers rigidity and precision. A choice of hydraulic elements is available, and the contour ways deliver anti-friction to the material. Fanuc or Siemens AC servomotors are used, as well as a choice of Fanuc or Siemens controls. Additionally, there are ballscrews on all linear axes and it includes Heidenhain linear and rotary scales.
