Linear rotary actuator with direct-drive motor

The LBR40 slim, stackable linear rotary actuator with a SMAC HT35 direct-drive brushless motor provides long life, high linear force, and high rotary torque. Encoder resolutions are available from 5µm to 1µm for application flexibility and optimized position control. IP67 protection is available as well as a built-in controller with popular communication protocols.

Advanced capability software suite

Updated hyperMill machining strategies offer advanced capabilities for accurate, efficient 3D and 5-axis machining. Developed with Industry 4.0 in mind, hyperMill Virtual Machining improves toolpaths that are traditionally calculated in the CAM engine and incorporates knowledge of the part model, tooling, toolpath calculation, collision check engine, and machine tool model with its physical constraints. The hyperMill Virtual Machining Optimizer enables individual part programs to be linked with smooth and safe connections, enabling the cutter to remain close to the workpiece.

Expanded micrometer series

Micromar 40 EWR/40-EWRi micrometers incorporate a 10mm-tall, high-contrast display, tolerance limits to qualify parts, a built-in reference system for setting zero position once, and a hold function (digital lock) allowing measured values to be frozen for easy reading.

Available with a MarConnect data output (USB, RS-232, or Digimatic) or wireless data transmission integrated within the digital micrometer, connectivity options allow users to measure faster, easier, and more reliably. Measurement data is transferred to an i-Stick on a computer without cables, and MarCom software simplifies data acquisition – take a measurement and transmit data directly into Microsoft Excel or via a keyboard code into any Windows program or existing statistical process control (SPC) application.
