Murata Machinery USA (Muratec USA) entered a strategic dealer partnership with Alta Enterprises, a full-service machine tool distributor serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Alta will represent Muratec’s full line of CNC turning centers, strengthening Muratec’s sales and service coverage across key eastern states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland.

DMG MORI and HAIMER expanded their longstanding strategic cooperation by adding the latest HAIMER software to DMG MORI Qualified Products (DMQP) for worldwide resale. The agreement will deploy HAIMER’s Industry 4.0 presetting, shrinkfit, and balancing machine solutions at the global DMG MORI headquarters in Tokyo, as well as at key production sites worldwide. These solutions encompass HAIMER’s Tool Room of the Future concept for digital connectivity.

Archetype launched the Expertise for Equity approach to help speed early-stage medtech product development. It will give companies whose product has proven potential access to critical support at the earliest stages of innovation, in exchange for an equity share in the company.
Archetype’s first equity partnership agreement has been signed with LumipenPro, which Archetype has worked with for the past year to help obtain European Medical Device Regulation approval for its illumination, suction, and smoke evacuation tool that snaps onto electrocautery pens widely used in aesthetic surgery. https://archetype-medtech.com
Appointments, promotions

Murata Machinery USA (Muratec USA) promoted Keiji Yuasa to president and CEO. Since joining the company in 2005, Yuasa has served as managing director of Murata Singapore Pte. Ltd. and in Corporate Planning in Human Resources Japan. Yuasa succeeds Toshiyuki Komori, who served as Muratec USA’s president and CEO for four and a half years. Komori has returned to Muratec USA’s parent company, Murata Machinery Ltd. (MML) of Kyoto, Japan, as executive sales manager for Turning in MML’s Machine Tools Division. https://www.muratec-usa.com

OSG USA promoted Bart A. Carter to vice president of National Accounts. Carter spent 18 months repositioning the OSG National Account Team and in his new role, he’ll lead OSG’s national account strategy, expand key partnerships, and drive growth initiatives.
Danny Nichols has been named vice president of Sales-Distribution, overseeing OSG’s distribution strategy and partner engagement.
Chris Dravis has been appointed national sales manager, leading the field sales team with responsibility for regional performance, sales execution, and frontline customer engagement, supporting distribution and national account initiatives.
Andy Oberg has been named director of National Accounts-Channel. He’ll manage strategic channel-focused national accounts, concentrating on strengthening partnerships, optimizing channel programs, and driving joint growth opportunities.
Rick Harris has been named director of National Accounts-Integration, leading integration-focused national accounts and coordinating account initiatives to support large-scale customer programs.
Sean McIntosh has been appointed national accounts integration manager. He’ll support integration activities across national accounts, ensuring alignment to deliver seamless implementation and ongoing support.
