Sliding headstock-type CNC lathe

The Cincom L12 sliding headstock-type CNC automatic lathe encompasses two roles in a single unit as it’s equipped with a detachable guide bushing so it can be used to machine long and short workpieces. It also shortens cycle times with a front spindle capable of high-speed rotation of 15,000rpm and 10,000rpm rotary tools.
A full range of optional tooling is available. Three both-end rotary tools (angle adjustable from 0° to 30°) can be mounted among the rotary tools on the gang tool post. In addition, adopting rotary tool specifications for the back tool post has made it possible to mount end face rotary tools and a slitting spindle for back machining. The machine is 1,760mm wide by 820mm deep.

Custom shadow foam

The Photo Scan It kit is the easy way to create professional-grade shadow foam for a toolbox or workstation. Using a smartphone or other camera and an internet connection, users can photo scan a complete set of tools and upload the images to order custom-made drawer inserts. The kit includes a scanning mat (24" x 38"), a set of 4 calibration gages in sample foam, and a scanning tutorial. After completing photos of the tool layout, customers choose their preferred Shadow Foam color – charcoal over red, blue, or yellow. The material is durable, closed-cell polyethylene with a smooth surface finish. It’s dust-free, repels water, oils, and solvents, and can be cleaned.

Turning grades for titanium

Coated carbide grades AC9115T and AC9125T have excellent wear resistance and are optimal for turning titanium alloys. AC9115T for general purpose machining and AC9125T for interrupted machining.
Featuring proprietary physical vapor deposition (PVD) Absotech coating technology in AC9115T and AC9125T, as well as the industry’s first tungsten carbide (WC) based composition, chemical reactions with titanium alloys are suppressed and wear resistance is significantly increased. The results have shown up to 75% reduction in friction coefficient. This achieves long tool life in turning titanium alloys, significantly contributing to improved productivity and reduced costs. PVD deposits a thin physical coating on the surface of the target material in the vapor phase.
