Boston Centerless is exhibiting their line of ground medical alloys. Bar stock is ground to exact specifications with incomparable consistency of roundness, straightness, and size tolerance (tolerances to .000050 in.). Materials in stock include stainless steel, titanium, and various high-grade medical alloys utilized for implants, instrumentation, and other medical components.
Additional services available include straightening, heat-treating, chamfering, and cut piece processing. Capabilities also include cylindrical, i.d., and centerless grinding services on customer-supplied raw materials or components. BC will also be introducing ultra-precise gages to ensure accurate measurements, including thread measuring wires, gear measuring wires, and cylindrical plug gages.
