Compact and powerful Micro Line highspeed spindles for Swiss turning now feature the addition of 20mm and 22mm models to the previously available 25mm diameter model. Right-hand spindles are also available. These spindles eliminate secondary operations for Swisstype lathes. Utilizing synchronous, DC motor technology and operating up to 100,000rpm with 260W continuous power and high torque, the spindles are ideal for machining applications involving micro-milling and drilling tools, as well as engraving and fine milling. The spindles feature high rigidity and ultra precision (less than 2µm runout) to dramatically enhance surface quality and machining accuracy. Models are available in standard length. Shorter lengths are also available to better suit compact tooling areas. In addition, IBAG offers a ready-to-install turning center kit that includes the spindle and drive, all electrical and pneumatic lines, and optional spindle mounting blocks.
IBAG North America will also display the Witte vacuum workholding chucks, pumps and accessories, including the circular grid vacuum chucks that provide accurate and secure workholding for metal, graphite, ceramic, plastic, exotic alloys and wafers as custom designs and standard cost-effective solutions.
