During IMTS, Mit - subishi Carbide will have daily product demonstrations featuring their complete line of Small Tools for Swiss type machines and vertical machining centers, specifically their SRM2, APX and WStar 8X D drill applications. The SRM2 mill features indexable ball nose cutter for rough and semifinish machining. Smooth cutting is possible because of a balance of low cutting resistance and toughness, as well as a large radius insert allowing the user to access hard to reach cavities. Mitsubishi will also exhibit their APX mill, featuring MIRACLE coated inserts and Small Tools that include a wide range of geometries and grades including cBN.
