Erwin Junker's new OD and ID grinding machine, the EJ 29 Silver, covers a wide range of grinding applications for small and mediumsized subcontractors, as well as for tool and machine manufacturers.
The machine is designed with optimum accessibility and more transparent structure. The CNC control system, FANUC 21i, ensures simple operation and programming. The grinder offers largescale digital axis drives and a highly precise absolute measuring system in all CNC axes. Separate electronic hand wheels for the X and Z-axis allows manual operation. The EJ 29 Silver provides a wide range of special equipment such as an internal grinding device, modern dressing programs, glass scale on the X-axis, tailstock with hydraulic operation, and many others.
