The latest addition to the MX family of products is the MXE Series of rodless screw drive electric actuators. All 12 MXE models offer a clean new look with load carrying flexibility. Tolomatic's MX rodless platform encompasses 30 products – all designed with ENDURANCE TECHNOLOGY features for maximum durability. MXE also combines multiple screw technologies and increased load capacities to deliver a flexible, reliable electric actuator in the industry.
The addition of these three sizes brings the MXE size offerings to six, providing greater load capability, delivering high load stability, and offering low carrier height to reduce overall actuator envelope. MXE's magneticallyretained stainless steel bands are durable, corrosion resistant, and flexible. A reliable seal over the life of the actuator protects internal components from contamination to increase uptime and reduce maintenance. MXE is available in inch and metric styles, and features internal magnets to support sensors and switches.
MXE is available in two bearing options. The trapezoidal Solid Bearing design reduces stress concentration by 59%, optimizing stress distribution for high performance. For the Profiled Rail design, MXE uses THK Caged Ball technology to reduce friction and extend actuator life. MXE also offers reverse parallel or in-line motor mounting configurations.
MXE customers also select from a choice of five solid nut screw designs – composed of engineered resin for quiet and affordable performance – or from three ball nut screws – which deliver positioning accuracy and repeatability for longer life with low-backlash.
