Officials from NAMSA, a world leading contract research organization for medical devices in Northwood, OH, and The Integra Group, a preclinical and clinical research organization near Minneapolis, MN, announce an alliance to accelerate medical device manufacturers at getting their products to market.
"NAMSA is proud to combine our experts in R&D, biocompatibility and clinical research with The Integra Group's imaging lab and physician training services in Minneapolis," says John Gorski, NAMSA's president and CEO. "Aligning the expertise of our people can facilitate medical device development through material selection, prototyping, non-clinical testing, and clinical research faster than other service providers.”
"Combining our research models in non-clinical and clinical research with NAMSA's strength in biocompatibility and breadth of services makes us a stronger team together for the benefit of clients," says Dr. Roy Martin, chief medical officer of The Integra Group.
The firms will jointly market services to medical device manufacturers across the United States and will coordinate projects for clients undergoing safety and efficacy evaluations for novel medical technologies.
"The medical device industry has been waiting for a consolidated service provider with this depth and breadth of expertise, and we're delighted to be part of a step in that direction. This alliance brings two complementary, world-class service providers together giving medical device manufacturers the best of all worlds," says Chris Pulling, CEO of The Integra Group.
