The new Midaco automatic pallet system for 5-axis vertical machining centers can be retrofitted to virtually any VMC including those with built in trunion type table. This system is standard with 2 pallet stations, one rotating pallet set up station, a linear guided pallet delivery system, state of the art touch screen system controller and 3 20 in. diameter (500mm) pallets. Flexible and expandable, the system can be increased in 2 pallet increments. Also, additional machines can be integrated into the system at any time. An accuracy of ±0.0001 in. (±. 0025mm) and a pallet clamping force of 21,060 lbs. assures reliability. Midaco will also be introducing a manual pallet system for universal applications on lathes, as well as 4th and 5th axis rotary milling tables at IMTS.
