AMT elected 2007-2008 officers and directors at the 2007 Annual Meeting in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM.
The Board of Directors of the association, which represents over 400 American manufacturers of machine tools, manufacturing machinery, and related products, elected Doug Currie, president & CEO, Erie Press Systems, Erie, PA, as chairman. He replaces Bradley L. Lawton, president, Star Cutter Company, Farmington Hills, MI, who will now serve the as an ex-officio member of its Board of Directors.
The Board elected Daniel D. Janka, president, Cincinnati Technologies, MAG Industrial Automation Systems, Hebron, KY, to first vice chairman. Ronald F. Schildge, president, Transmares Corp., Annandale, NJ, will serve as second vice chairman and treasurer during the coming year. Kim W. Beck, president & CEO, Automatic Feed Co., Napoleon, OH, will serve as secretary.
