Genevieve Swiss Industries has introduced a new Rotary Broach Head that is compact and reduces setup time on CNC Swiss machines. Designed specifically for the Swiss-type and gang style lathes, the broach holder fits into the tightest of machines without loosing adjacent ID stations. The head diameter is 1.1 in. and the head length is 2.42 in., making it possible for use in sub-spindle applications.
Each holder has an extra long shank, reducing vibration and increasing rigidity. This also allows for modification to each specific machine and application. Capable of withstanding 2,200 lbs of push force, this broach head also incorporates a special bearing design.
