High resolution vertical positioning stage

The BT-SN50 Z-axis stage is a compact, vertical positioning stage with 50mm of travel and a 125mm x 125mm footprint. Driven by a two-phase stepper motor, the fully enclosed black anodized aluminum alloy Z-axis stage is suitable for laboratory use or on an optical bench requiring a clean environment where space is at a premium.
The BT-SN50 includes preloaded linear guides and a precision-ground lead screw offering 1.5875mm per motor turn. It features 0.794µm resolution, a motor driver enabling 10 micro-steps per step, positional accuracy of 2µm, and very high parallelism.
The 125mm x 125mm table has 16 threaded holes for mounting tooling, fixtures, and lasers. It includes X, Y, G (goniometers) and theta (rotary) motorized and manual stages. Four accessible mounting holes in the base allow for easy integration into new and existing applications. Capable of handling loads up to 50kg, the stage has limit switches to prevent over-travel. Each stage can be ordered with a fully compatible plug-and-play, single or multi-axis motion controller, keypad, joystick, and cables.
The BT-SN50 is suited for a variety of applications such as laser drilling and machining, optics, inspection, positioning, and assembly, in laboratory and production settings.
