The Robot Compact 150 is an automation solution for flexible loading of up to two production machines of all processing technologies, offering magazine capacity with a small footprint while maintaining a transfer weight up to 150kg.

Optional pull-out magazine levels ensure convenient loading and unloading of the workpiece carriers directly into the magazine. The EROWA EWIS chip identification system, in combination with the presence sensor, offers a quick overview of the loading of all magazine locations, significantly increasing process reliability and efficiency.

The optional loading station can be integrated to save space, making it possible to set up large and heavy palletized workpieces at an ergonomic height while the robot is operational. An indexing system enables convenient setup (4x90° rotation) and locks the pallet automatically when it engages. It also ensures the pallets don’t end up misaligned in the magazine.

Magazine capacity is flexible and can be individually adjusted depending on the size of the workpiece. Options such as a third rack magazine or an additional rotary magazine offer solutions for every production environment. The device can handle workpieces of different sizes and heights – from 70mm x 70mm EROWA ITS electrode holders to 400mm x 400mm MTS 400 pallets and part heights up to 400mm.

Two independent X-axis drives enable fast magazine handling and a large magazine capacity with an X-axis travel of 1,458mm. The space-saving gripper trays and the Gripper+ technology (sensor system) ensure maximum flexibility and process reliability.

High-torque precision spindles

The BMS-5010 and BMS-5010RA high-torque brushless motor spindles are designed to exceed the capabilities of the BMS-4020, delivering 2x the torque at 2N•m, ensuring enhanced performance in drilling, milling, deburring, grinding, and polishing applications.

With maximum power of 1,200W and a rotational speed up to 10,000rpm, the BMS-5010 is optimized for handling tool shanks 1/2" or smaller (ER20), making it a choice for applications previously requiring more power. Spindle accuracy is within 1µm at the taper.

The BMS-5010 features a 50mm O.D. and O.A.L. of 10.3" while maintaining a compact and lightweight structure. Additionally, its dustproof cover and purge air enhance durability and longevity in high-debris environments.

With improved specifications and durability, the BMS-5010 series offers reliability, power, and accuracy in precision tool applications.
