With an expanded offering of the SINUMERIK ONE digital native CNC, the new control generation from Siemens is now offered with innovations in software and hardware, enabling machine builders and end-users a full digital twin of the machine tool and machining sequences.
With system software SINUMERIK V6.20, there are new technology functions in SINUMERIK ONE simplifying operation, reducing machine wear, and increasing productivity. These developments demonstrate how the SINUMERIK ONE machine tool control system can be optimally used for digital transformation in a highly productive, flexible, and modular way.
There are additional hardware innovations designed to simplify operation. The keyboards and Machine Control Panels (MCPs) are now available from 15” to 24” to match the design of the HMI panel with increased performance and full HD resolution up to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
The CNCs are also integrated in the digital twin of SINUMERIK ONE (Run MyVirtual Machine), so the appearance and operation correspond to the real control in every respect. In addition, the digital twin has been equipped with new features simplifying engineering and work preparation. Examples of the many innovations include a 3D option supporting a second channel, often used for robotic integration.
