New MRC "R Series" small inch-size ball bearings serve as miniature solutions to fit small shaft diameters. Availability in stainless broadens potential applications for these bearings by providing the capability to resist corrosion typically encountered in demanding or harsh operating environments.
The design of these single-row deepgroove radial Conrad-type bearings contributes to their capability to carry significant radial loads and substantial thrust loads in either direction, even at high speeds. Unique design features include uninterrupted raceway grooves and optimized conformity between balls and raceways to accommodate modate high thrust loads.
Bore sizes range from 0.125 to 1.500- in. and open, shielded, and sealed bearing types are available. Basic radial dynamic load ratings range from 70 lbf to 3,780 lbf and basic radial static load ratings range from 27 lbf to 2,650 lbf, depending on type.
R-Series small-inch size ball bearings are supplied with pressed steel cages as standard. Two-piece riveted machined phenolic cages can be specified to satisfy particular application requirements.
