P6050 pressure sensor is a low-profile, surface-mount device that is compatible with standard PCB assembly methods. The sensor incorporates a piezo-resistive sensing technology that allows for a miniature package design and flexible pressure ranges. The P6050 requires a 5V DC power supply and is available with a standard analog linear amplified output of 0.5V to 4.5V DC, proportional to pressure. System designers can select a standard voltage output device or alternative digital SPI output. When selecting the digital output, system designers eliminate components due to the embedded 10 bit analog to digital converter. This option saves space, component cost and may reduce power consumption as well as overall design complexity.
This temperature-compensated unit is available in absolute, gage or differential configurations with pressure ranges from 0 to 13" H20 to 0 to 75psi. Designed for a variety of industrial uses, the P6050 measures the pressure of air and dry gases for medical applications such as oxygen concentrators, respirators, CPAP systems, hospital beds, and other medical and laboratory instruments.
The P6050 can be specified with vertical, horizontal or dual horizontal pressure ports and has an accuracy specification of ±0.5% for linearity, repeatability and hysteresis at 25°C and ±2.0% total error band from 0 to 65°C.
