Tech-Etch elects president, CEO

Richard Cammarano has been selected as president and CEO of Tech-Etch Inc., moving into that position June 18, 2018.

Prior to joining Tech-Etch, Cammarano was chief commercial officer (CCO) at Facet Medical Technologies, responsible for commercial strategy and leading sales, marketing, and product development.

From 2004 to 2017, Cammarano held multiple management positions at Flex (formerly Flextronics), most recently serving as vice president, Flex Medical, leading a multi-national staff serving the medical device industry. Earlier in his career, Cammarano held management roles with Plexus, Sanmina, and Future Electronics.

MSC Industrial Supply announces supplier awards

Saint-Gobain Abrasives (IMTS 2018 Booth #237042) has been selected from more than 3,000 top companies to receive MSC Industrial Supply Co.’s annual Supplier of the Year award. Sandvik Coromant (IMTS 2018 Booth #431510 & #215104) and Parker Hannifin were recognized with breakthrough Supplier of the Year awards. MSC (IMTS 2018 Booth #432094) is a distributor of metalworking and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies to industrial customers throughout North America.

Saint-Gobain Abrasives supplies abrasive products under the Norton brand. The Saint-Gobain Abrasives team aligned its business model with MSC’s metalworking business to bring Norton solutions-oriented products and technical expertise to help drive the efficiency and productivity of MSC’s and Saint-Gobain Abrasives’ mutual customers.

MSC breakthrough supplier awards were presented to Sandvik Coromant and Parker Hannifin for outstanding effort, partnership, and above-market performance within the metalworking and managed assembly consumables categories, respectively.
