Combination of Companies Strengthens Corporate Identity
Motoman Inc. and Yaskawa Electric America Inc. have combined to form Yaskawa America Inc. The Motoman Inc. operations, headquartered in Dayton, OH, will form the Motoman Robotics Division of Yaskawa America; the Yaskawa Electric America Inc. operations, headquartered in Waukegan, IL, will form the Drives & Motion Division. According to Yaskawa America Inc. Keynote Speakers for Industry Inspiration Day at IMTS 2010
Renowned experts from the aerospace, medical, automotive, and energy industries will present the keynote program on manufacturing innovation for the first-ever Industry Inspiration Day at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show, September 13, 2010. A round-table panel discussion will conclude the luncheon keynote program, which will be held from 12pm to 3pm in the Industry & Technology Conference area of the West building of Chicago’s McCormick Place. Inspiration Day is the kick-off to the all-new IMTS Industry & Technology Conference, running September 14-18 during IMTS 2010.

Representing the aerospace industry will be Allan McArtor, chairman of Airbus Americas. Rene van de Zande, president and CEO of the Emergo Group, a consulting leader in international medical device registrations, quality system compliance and medical distribution management, will cover the medical device and in vitro medical device industries. Leading the discussion for the automotive sector will be Jim Tetreault, vice president of North American Manufacturing for Ford Motor Company. Nationally recognized energy policy expert and Chief Executive Officer of the American Wind Energy Association, Denise Bode, will complete the panel.
