Compact, all-in-one motion applications
A new Lexium MDrive (LMD) is set to benefit a wide range of motion applications with its compact, all-in-one design that saves space, reduces wiring, and improves reliability. The initial LMD product release includes two motor sizes, NEMA 23 and 34, and two product versions:
Pulse/Direction – motor+drive with four control modes: torque, speed, velocity, and step clock direction
Motion Control – motor+drive+controller for direct programming with 11,120 bytes of flash memory
These products have a serial RS-422/485 communication interface, with operating power range of 12VDC up to 70VDC. An improved user software suite is provided for product configuration and programming.
LMD products with internal encoders also operate in closed-loop mode using hMTechnology, which blends stepper and servo motor benefits while eliminating negatives such as loss of synchronization or stalling. In addition, a variable current control feature may reduce heat, save energy, and lower operating costs in a wide variety of motion applications.

One-way respiratory valves
Two new one-way respiratory valves are now available in the Qosina line of respiratory kit components and circuit connectors. Made of polypropylene and medical-grade silicone, the valves feature molded arrows to indicate the direction of flow and are designed to allow the flow of gases in only one direction. One-way respiratory valve #97351 offers flow from 22mm ID inlet to 22mm OD outlet (female to male), while #97352 provides flow from 22mm OD inlet to 22mm ID outlet (male to female).
