Better Control, Quieter Operation
The S-Track line of linear actuators is ideally suited for use in general-duty applications including medical, and are available with aluminum or engineered plastic housings. Enhanced control allows for 12VDC or 24VDC switched power operation of the S-Track actuator by turning power off to the motor automatically when reaching the internal end limits. An integral MP150 Metri-Pack 8-pin molded connector allows several standard input and output features to monitor the operation of the actuator (including motor thermal and current overload protection).

S-Track actuators feature a <56dB noise level, 700 lb maximum dynamic and static load rating, 0.25"/sec. (1" no load) speed rating, and a 16" maximum stroke length with end-of-stroke limits.

An array of actuator controls is also available from simple-to-use switch box controls for basic extend/retract function to state-of-the-art microprocessor-based digital electronic controls using SMT design and manufacturing processes.

LVD High-Performance Low-Voltage Servo Drive
The high-performance low-voltage servo drive is designed to support small and large brushed DC or brushless motors. Packed in a high power-density package, LVD powers from a supply voltage of 12VDC to 48VDC, and is capable of 7A RMS continuous and 12A RMS peak current with CANopen communication interface.

The LVD offers extensive functionality with multiple I/O inputs for operation in current, velocity, or position modes. The drive operates at a voltage range of 12V to 48V and supports both BLDC and DC motors. With selectable switching frequency, it also supports low inductance motors, making it an ideal drive for a wide variety of applications.

Measuring 117mm x 83.5mm x 21.5mm and weighing only 250g, the LVD is one of the smallest low-voltage drives.

Drive Stepper Motor Controller
The RoHS-compliant PCM7539X IDEA programmable stepper motor drive is capable of a 75VDC input voltage with a max output current of 3.85A RMS. This unit, designed to control the larger-size stepper motor linear actuators offered by Haydon Kerk, has the same functionality and programmability as the lower-power IDEA drives.

The introduction of the PCM7539X completes the power range for the platform, allowing use of the IDEA system with any stepper motor product currently offered by Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions. Design of the PCM7539X, in particular, is to control the larger size 23 and size 34 stepper motor units.

The controller is a compact, easy-to-use electronic drive, and fully programmable control unit with a patent-pending graphic user interface. Programming the drive is through use of on-screen buttons instead of complicated command sets or other proprietary programming languages.

Technical specifications for the PCM7539X include programmable current control, 12VDC to 75VDC input voltage, drive current per phase of 3.85A RMS, plus a 30% current boost function.

Stand-Alone RFID Read Head
RFID Read Head IQT-F116-R4M-V1 conforms to the popular and open 13.56MHz ISO 15693 standard. As a result, it promotes simplified operation and enhanced productivity in stand-alone or multi-drop applications. In multi-drop applications, users can connect up to 30 RFID read heads together on a single network, bringing the data back to a PC or PLC.

These RFID read heads provide a read/write range up to 130mm, and feature two-wire RS485 connectivity and 200mm M12 pigtail connectors to facilitate easy connection and removal. A continuous read option is available for point-to-point applications while a low profile design makes the IQT series ideal for mounting under shallow conveyor sections where conventional RFID heads are too large.
