Paul Lightowler

Meet the panelists
Paul Lightowler is the global product manager for the APDIS Laser Radar with 20 years of automotive, aerospace, and large-scale metrology experience covering measurements, automation, and robotics. Working with the Laser Radar products for more than a decade as an applications engineer, Lightowler has had first-hand experience of the issues customers face across a wide range of industries. Now, as product manager, he can use this experience to help drive advancements in products and applications with the engineering team and integration partners, developing new approaches to production inspection using the automated capabilities of the APDIS Laser Radar.

Ezhil Viswanathan

Ezhil Viswanathan is the vice president of FPT Industrie and started his career as a controls engineer after earning his Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering from Maharishi International University. Viswanathan then worked as a control integration specialist for Fidia before being promoted to the role of Service/Operations Manager. He joined FPT as its VP of Sales in 2015, covering the North American market, overseeing capital equipment sales activity in US, Canada, and Mexico, managing direct and distribution sales networks, service/support, and customer engagement.

John Tuohy
John Tuohy is the manager of business development for FANUC America Corporation responsible for the sales and account development of the ROBODRILL team. He has over 35 years of experience in the automation and machine tool industries. 
Tuohy joined FANUC in 2016, and in his current role, he works with global end users and FANUC integrators to help solve their customers’ manufacturing issues related to quality control, throughput, skills gap, workforce development and profitability by applying the latest FANUC technologies.
Prior to joining FANUC, Tuohy worked at Schunk, and was responsible for developing their automotive market segment in the U.S. 

Tuohy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Hillsdale College and is fluent in the French and Slovak languages. He is also a member of the NTMA Tech Team, AMGA Tech Team, AMT IMTS Show Committee and Chair of the AMT TIC Committee.

Frank Nuqui

Frank Nuqui is the machine tool integration program manager for FANUC America. Frank has worked for FANUC America for 20 years and held positions in the company’s Field Service, Aftermarket Support and Business Development departments. He has extensive experience providing guidance on 5-axis, IoT and automation solutions to customers in a variety of industries including aerospace, defense and medical.
