 7. Run in Miles for Manufacturing – Sept 14, 7am DuSable Harbor, Chicago
GIE Media’s Miles for Manufacturing 5k run is held at various AMT events and benefits manufacturing education programs. Since the inaugural run in Chicago at IMTS 2014, Miles for Manufacturing has continued to grow and move throughout the country. 100% of the proceeds from each Miles for Manufacturing 5k goes towards equipment needed to further manufacturing education. To date more than $125,000 has been donated to various schools throughout the country. Register by August 31 to guarantee a race shirt.
