• A Selection from the Show Booth:
  The adjustable Revolution Drill, a remarkable tool that saves time, money and concern over quality finish. With a hole-diameter range of 1.875" to 4.0", Revolution Drill comes with removable cartridges for fast replacement. No pilot hole required thanks to its over-center cutting geometry. Allied offers Opening Drill, an extremely effective tool designed to enlarge existing holes. Opening Drill allows for large amounts of material removal with only one pass, even on low horsepower machines, while ignoring core shifts up to 1/8" providing straight and true holes.
• The BTA Drill Replaceable-Tip Ejector tool introduces T-A replaceable tip technology to the BTA deep hole drilling market. The unique design of the new BT-A Drill uses Allied's T-A drilling system inserts, including GEN2 T-A to maximize penetration rates and tool life. The product works with standard BTA single tube designs to flush the spent coolant and chips through the tool. The T-A drill insert is replaceable, so there is no need to regrind, and balanced cutting offers increased feedrates. This characteristic is just one of the timesaving benefits of the Allied T-A Drilling System.
• The GEN3SYS High Penetration Drilling System is available in 12mm to 32mm (.4724" to 1.2598") diameter range, and is the end-user’s choice for ‘difficult to drill’ materials. Helical and straight fluted holder options allow for 3x, 5x, and 7x diameter-to-length ratios. Replaceable-tip drill inserts available in C1 & C2 substrates. GEN3SYS inserts are coated in AM200 proprietary coating, to ensure longer tool life.
