Alpha Source Receives CE Marking

Alpha Source, Inc., a Wisconsin-based medical device distributor and manufacturer, received CE Mark approval for its "Alpha Source Inc/Access Battery LLC" manufactured brand of battery packs used primarily for medical applications.

The CE Mark allows Alpha Source to distribute its branded battery products to countries in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) and asserts that all batteries manufactured by Alpha Source meet the health and safety requirements of the European Economic Community Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC).

Alpha Source continues to expand its international distribution reach by meeting global quality standards having obtained Health Canada licensing in 2008 and ISO13485:2003 Certification in 2006.
