Makino’s 2011 Advanced Manufacturing and High-Precision Technology Expo is scheduled to be held October 12-13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI. Attendees are going to have the opportunity to learn about new manufacturing processes, techniques, philosophies and strategies, vital to transforming their business for greater success in the ever-expanding global marketplace. High-precision machining demonstrations are also on tap to be displayed for a variety of industries, including tool, die, mold, medical, automotive and aerospace.

At the event, featured presenter Steve LeFever, chairman and founder of Business Resource Services, will discuss financial management education as the single greatest need for business owners across all industries. Additional presentations delivered by Makino are to cover various topics such as micromachining, EDM technologies, the new PS-series production-oriented VMCs and a metrology panel discussion.
