Loomis, California – Applimotion’s Frameless Direct Drive motor kits have been used in custom direct drive motors for more than 15 years in automation systems, robotics, semiconductor equipment, medical devices, and communication systems. The company is now adding value to customers by designing and supplying complete assemblies with Applimotion motor kits inside.
Applimotion’s ULT, UTH, and UTS motor kits can be integrated into a customized assembly with high-resolution encoders and precision bearings. This allows the customer to control the function and operation of the assembly without having to make it in house. It is routine for Applimotion to design from a specification provided by the customer. The final assembly is then only made for and sold to that customer. Some assemblies even include harmonic drive gearing systems. Custom assemblies can range from 8mm diameter to 600mm diameters and torque from 0.1NM to 1,000NM with unique through-holes, mechanical features, and custom cabling.
