The Blizzard SPR Blanket is constructed of a material called Reflexcell, which provides maximum warmth by utilizing its cellular construction to trap warm air. Elasticity draws the material to the body and reduces cold spaces and heat loss by convection. Silvered surfaces block heat loss by radiation. Multiple layers reinforce structural integrity, and heat seals prevent the spread of accidental punctures or tears. Reflexcell is completely windproof, waterproof, and can be compressed, recompressed, and stored indefinitely without damaging performance.

The blanket’s pod shape and side slits allow caregivers full patient access for treatment during transportation. Blizzard SPR Blanket allows complete head and foot coverage with built-in bungee cords for controlled closure.
