Company Continues to Excel in Customer Service
Lincolnshire, Illinois, June 30, 2006 -According to a recent internal audit conducted by Charmilles, 99.9% of April's spare parts orders were shipped the same day from the shelves of the Lincolnshire, Illinois warehouse. April's 99.9% score was an all-time monthly record for Charmilles, which has averaged 99.1% YTD as of April 30, 2006.
The Company also reported that since January 2006, the 0.9% of orders that had to be filled from Charmilles' warehouse in Geneva, Switzerland were delivered within 3.6 days of the order date.
Charmilles goes one step further and monitors the number of customers that wait more than overnight for parts. The average YTD is 1 out of 11,219 installed machines in North America.
"Currently, Charmilles' spare parts inventory, not including tooling and consumables, is valued at $5.9 million," said Harry Moser, President of Agie Charmilles Corp. "The Company is able to maintain such high levels of customer service because of its vast spare parts inventory."
Charmilles also excels in other measures of customer support. In April, 94% of customer service calls were answered live by 10 service technicians with an average of 9.9 years of experience at Charmilles.
Mr. Moser also noted that Charmilles continues to regard unparalleled customer service as one of the key differentiating factors for the Company. "We measure and survey all aspects of customer support – whatever needs fixing gets fixed immediately."
