Big Mouth collets from Core Powered open over 2.5mm more than a clamped feature, allowing part heads to be buried deep into the workholding. This is accomplished by expanding the amount the collet is sprung open with a simple modification to the sub-spindle. The operator can then hold and machine parts that were previously difficult or impossible to make.
