The NEW GENOS L300-MW from Okuma is an entry-level, multi-function lathe that is anything but basic. It features live tooling, C-axis and a sub-spindle for increased functionality. Built on a one-piece, cast iron base with a horizontal way system and hand-scraped headstock and tailstock mounting surfaces, this machine provides stability, rigidity and accuracy for a variety of applications. All stations on the 12-station VDI 40 turret are M-tool capable for increased functionality and flexibility.
At the IMTS show, in booth S-8500, the GENOS L300-MW will be cutting a plug-rig assembly from 411 steel. Partner applications include a Marposs bore gauge with quick SPC, Iscar tooling, Kitagawa workholding, Shell lubricants and dataZen software.
