The hospital needed valves; the manufacturer was overwhelmed by orders. Editors at Giornale di Brescia (GdB) newspaper thought why not 3D print them. In a hurry, and after a few calls, they reached out Massimo Temporelli, a physicist and entrepreneur who reached out to Brescian engineers Cristian Fracassi and Alessandro Ramaioli.
