DN Solutions has been named a Winner in the Product Design category of the Red Dot Design Award 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions. The award recognizes the exceptional design of two of the company’s flagship models, DNX 2100 and DVF 5000 2nd Generation.

Organized by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, the Red Dot Design Award is widely regarded as one of the top global design accolades. This year’s recognition marks DN Solutions’ third and fourth Red Dot wins, following earlier awards for the SMX series in 2014 and FM200/5AX in 2015.

The DNX 2100 is a high-performance multi-tasking machine that enables complete machining of complex parts in a single setup, significantly enhancing productivity and process reliability. The DVF 5000 2nd Gen is a compact 5-axis vertical machining center designed for precision machining of complex geometries with maximum efficiency.

Both winning models are the first to showcase DN Solutions’ new design identity, centered around the “Silver & Blue” concept. Inspired by the view of Earth from space, the shimmering silver finish conveys advanced technology and forward-thinking values, while the vibrant blue accent line symbolizes stability, trust, and the company’s commitment to continuous innovation. These elements are applied consistently across the machines – from the front door and control panel borders to the lower ambient lighting – establishing a unified and futuristic aesthetic.

The new rounded-square silhouette, combining fluid curves with structural clarity, reflects both strength and elegance. This signature form enhances intuitive usability and reinforces the brand’s modern design language.

Ergonomic enhancements also play a key role in the design evolution. The DNX series features optimized work zone dimensions for improved accessibility and operator convenience. A newly introduced ambient light at the base of the machine works in sync with the signal tower, enabling users to easily recognize machine status through visual cues even at close range.

DN Solutions is gradually expanding its new design language across its high-end product lineup and automation solutions. Several redesigned models were recently unveiled at DIMF 2025 (DN Solutions International Machine Tool Fair), held from April 2–5.

“This award reinforces the global competitiveness of DN Solutions in industrial design,” says a DN Solutions executive. “We will continue to raise the standard by combining advanced technologies with refined, user-centered design to deliver greater value to our customers worldwide.”
